THE WALKING DRAWING

A people's engagement project

The Walking Drawing emerged from six participatory walking sessions across Seoul conducted between April and May 2025. Developed in collaboration with Seoul Share and Frame, the project invited participants to observe, discuss, and draw the city’s facades using a mobile device called the Seoul Jige. From dense commercial alleys to ecological edges, each walk generated a collective visual narrative through drawing and reflection. These contributions were assembled into a large-scale drawing—a linear, walkable composition that echoes the city’s emotional and architectural complexity through layered fabrics and shared authorship.
